On April 18, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new 150,000-ton/year advanced sanitary materials project of Henghe (Nanjing) Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was grandly held in Nanjing Jiangbei New Materials Science and Technology Park.The main leaders of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, the president of Yangzi BASF, and the secretary of the Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce, among other relevant leaders, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

As an important subsidiary of Henghe Industrial Group, Henghe (Nanjing) Company has achieved an annual revenue of 1.6 billion yuan. The new 150,000-ton/year advanced hygiene materials project, with a total investment of 1.01 billion yuan, is scheduled to be completed and handed over by December 2026.

This project produces advanced hygiene materials with high added value, covering multiple fields such as sanitary-grade non-woven fabrics, hot melt adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, sealants, rubber tackifying agent and plastic modification additives. The products are widely used in disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, high-end packaging adhesives, rubber tires and other consumer and industrial scenarios. They are technologically advanced and have significant market competitiveness. 

With the continuous growth of global market demand for advanced functional resins, as well as the economic recovery after the domestic epidemic and the promotion of consumption upgrade by the two-child policy, the market for high-end hydrogenated resins for medical supplies has witnessed explosive growth. Henghe (Nanjing) Company seized the opportunity and, through this project, achieved the replacement of traditional non-hydrogenated resins with high-quality hydrogenated resins, further expanding its market share. At the same time, it also injected strong impetus into the petrochemical industry chain of Nanjing Jiangbei New Materials Science and Technology Park.
